The Sergeant Floyd Center and Museum is a regional history museum housed inside of decommisioned Army Corp of Engineer's inspection boat, The Sergeant Floyd. The center is named after the only man to die during the expeditions of Lewis & Clark. His gravestone, the Floyd Monument, was the nation's first registered historic landmark. The museum is located on the riverfront of the mighty Mississippi, across the river from the Scenic Park Campground.
