Each year the Sioux City Community Theater puts on seven main stage and three mezzanine productions of classic Broadway, and original plays. Originally built in 1948, the theatre was the one-time home of the Shore Acres Ballroom, a 2006 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee that once hosted performances by famous musicians like The Beach Boys and Glenn Miller. The theater is located north of Riverside Park, near the Two Rivers Golf Course.
